Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant:

Do you love working with young children ages 8 weeks-3 years old? The Ithaca Community Childcare Center (IC3) is now hiring an infant/toddler teacher assistant to work with children ages 8 weeks-3 years old. Work Monday-Friday 12:00-5:30. Minimum of high school diploma required. CDA or equivalent (12 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or EC Special Ed.) and experience working in a school, preschool, child care, or day care setting preferred. $11.15-$12.15 per hour depending on education. Benefits eligible with paid holidays, paid vacation and sick.

  • be able to establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
  • assist teachers with designing and implementing an age appropriate classroom/learning environment
  • have the ability to appropriately and productively respond to the needs of both the children and parents in the classroom
  • have team-oriented problem solving skills
  • abide by OCFS regulations
  • be responsible, reliable, and dependable
  • have clear, direct communication style (written and verbal)

Teacher Aide:

The Ithaca Community Childcare Center (IC3) is now hiring a floating teacher aide to work with children ages 8 weeks-5 years old enrolled in our infant, toddler, and pre-k classrooms. Work Monday-Friday 12:00-5:30. Minimum of high school diploma required. CDA or equivalent (12 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or EC Special Ed.) and experience working in a school, preschool, child care, or day care setting preferred. $11.15-$12.15 per hour depending on education. Substitutes:

Ithaca Community Childcare Center (IC3) is now hiring substitute teachers. Must enjoy working with young children 8 weeks- 11 years old. Substitutes are used on an on call basis Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm and may work in our infant, toddler, pre-k, or after school programs. If there is a day or part of a day that you can’t work we won’t call you. It may be a pre-scheduled shift or may be scheduled the night or morning of the shift. Availability M-F 12:00-5:30 two or three days per week preferred. High School Diploma required. Experience experience working in a school, preschool, child care, or day care setting preferred. $11.40/hr.
